CALL FOR PAPERS | 60th Psychological Association of the Philippines Annual Convention

The Psychological Association of the Philippines is celebrating their 60th Annual Convention with the theme, “60 Years of Philippine Psychology: Celebrating Glocal Milestones and Navigating Trends in Research and Practice,” to be held on 26-28 September 2024 at the Baguio Convention and Cultural Center and Saint Louis University.

Research that address the following key areas are encouraged to submit:

• Milestone Glocalization. The interplay of global and local influences in shaping Philippine psychology, and how psychology helped shape both the global and local scenes.
• Program Developments. Advancing psychology through community programs, and program interventions in different settings.
• Emerging Trends. Research and innovative practices which transform the field of psychology in the Philippines including technology-based intervention, telehealth, mental health at workplace, climate change, trauma-informed care, suicide prevention, etc.
• Future Directions. Critical reflections on the challenges, opportunities facing Philippine psychology and legislations for advancing the field in the years to come.
